1) What inspired this piece?
I love flappers. I love the clothing, the dancing, the music. I’d love to create more art featuring them!

2) Why did you give it that title?
People always ask, what other time in history would you have liked to have lived in? Well, personally, there isn’t any other time I think I would chose other than the flapper era – take part in those flapper days. It was an exciting time in the art world as well as in women’s rights.

3) Did you use a photo reference or model?
I’m not sure what I referenced for this piece.

4) Is there a story or message in this piece
Live free, laugh loud, dance bold!

5) Any other thoughts?
The CD still in my car stereo: The Great Gatsby soundtrack.
