I’d been
seeing a lot of photographers and makeup artists doing these kinds of makeup designs
on models. I’ve really been admiring extensive body painting recently. I’m
always amazed at what can be done with body paint.

As I drew
it, I just got this sense that she was a sort of trickster sprite or fairy of
sorts, and that she was the queen of them.

trickster queen. What a holy terror she must be! And what fun she probably has!
She is queen of the tricksters, and very deserving of the title. A strong
female character and ruler.
