Create Her Own Fate

Breaking the cycle of poverty is extremely important to keeping women and children from being exploited and trafficked. Education and vocational training is key.

In many countries, girls are not given opportunity for education and vocational training, nor are they given the right – hence they are left powerless to influence their own fate. Through many organizations, this is slowly changing. Cultural opinions are changing to realize the important educated roles that women can and are capable of playing in society. More and more women are given the tools to influence their own lives for the better.

You too can help make a difference. Check out the following links on how to get involved with providing education to women and children around the world:

Malala Yousafzai, who recently just became the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, started a foundation to advocate for girls around the globe to receive equal and free education. Learn more about her organization and how you can help: Visit the Malala Fund

Sponsor children through Compassion International – children receive education and vocational training through the Compassion program, thus helping Compassion’s campaign to break the cycle of poverty through education.
