365 Days: Charity Project Update

11 pieces sold, $101 raised for charity!

Great job everyone! Thank you for getting involved, and please continue to support and to spread the word about the issue and this charity project.

As you may or may not have noticed, I have fallen vastly behind updating my 365 day drawings and paintings.Well, not only did I fall behind posting them online, but I also fell behind on actually drawing and painting them.

Don’t be alarmed! I am NOT quitting this project. However, I am so many weeks behind that it is simply too much for me ever to catch up on. I will continue creating a piece each day, but I am admitting momentary defeat and am not going to go back and create 50+ pieces to catch up and course correct.
This project will still span 365 days, but just not necessarily consecutive days. I implied that it would be 365 consecutive days, and I certainly meant it to be that way. However, returning to college and taking 18 credits on top of working full time proved to be a lot when the charity project was added to it and my regular art business load. This spring semester will not be any lighter, if not significantly heavier.

I feel good about this decision, though it is somewhat disappointing to not be able to do it in 365 consecutive days. In the rush of things, I have not had the time to put up the web page for this project or do any type of PR. The word has not gotten around much on this project, and that is probably mainly my fault. I intend to message all kinds of blogs and publications that may be interested in this kind of project.

Please continue to support  me and to help spread the word about the issue of human trafficking and this charity project! Thanks, all!
