WIP (Day 2)

I seem to be celebrating the holidays this year by painting, lol, since yesterday on New Year’s Eve, I once again found myself painting the mural in my Grandma’s basement apartment:

Since I had a New Year’s Eve party to get to, I only had time to paint for two or three hours. As such, I didn’t get a whole lot done.

In case you missed the difference from the end of Day 1, here’s a close up on the area I worked on:

I still have a lot of work to do on the house, road, and background landscape, but it is a start on layering in some details. That’s what I really love about acrylic paint: if there is a detail you didn’t like, you can just paint right over it again once it’s dry.
I’ll be updating on my website a more detailed explaination and explain some tips and tricks that I’ve been learning as I go along, so if you’d like to see and read more, please visit my website at http://www.soarts.net/!

Happy New Year!

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
